Apply to Beta Read
Beta readers provide feedback on an unfinished version of the book before publication. To beta read Catalyst of Control, you must be:
1. A reader who enjoys sci-fi or dystopian stories
2. Willing to provide honest and detailed feedback to help improve the book
If selected, you will receive digital access to Catalyst of Control. You can leave feedback on every chapter—highlighting things you enjoy, questions you have, and areas for improvement. You will also be given a survey upon finishing the book.
Beta Readers vs. ARC Readers
If you become a beta reader, you will read a draft of the book well before publication, and your feedback will help in the editing process.
ARC (advanced reader copy) readers read the book closer to publication. An ARC is a fully edited version of the book, given out in exchange for an honest review. ARC readers don’t provide feedback to the author. If you would like to be an ARC reader instead, apply here.
If you are accepted as either a beta reader or an ARC reader, you will become a Forester. Foresters are part of an exclusive readers’ community with access to behind-the-scenes updates, discussion groups, and bonus content from Winter Forest Press.
